to the children’s ski park
Serfaus is a paradise for little skiers and those who are on their way to become one: Imaginative exercise parks and slopes, conveyor belts, play rooms and playgrounds fully live up to Serfaus’ reputation in addition to the ski school courses.
Kinderschneealm & Ski kindergarten Murmli nest
The Kinderskialm extends over approx. 45,000 m² in the middle of the ski area, in a sheltered location and away from the hustle and bustle on the slopes. Here your kids enjoy fun in the snow, supervised all day long by kindergarten teachers or specially trained ski instructors. Whether on the big meadow with fairy tale figures near the Murmlidorf village, on conveyor belts (560 metres length in total) and dedicated children’s lifts, swings, seesaws, slides, the adventure tower, the carousel and the cable car - skiing becomes an unforgettable experience for your child!
The Murmli nest welcomes children from age 2.5 (non-skiers) and supervises them from the first to the last moment of their ski day. The Murmli parlours are for warming up and for playing in between. The “Schneealm” is open for all children (up to the age of 15).
So the skiing vacation with the children can be enjoyed in a relaxed way with us in Tyrol. Spend a dreamlike ski day while your children have fun in the Kinderschneealm.
Ski course from 3 years
The ski method “Gentle Birth” takes place on the Kinderschneealm (Komperdell, 2,000 m). 3 year old children can learn how to ski in the group lessons (full day or half day, 2 or 4 hours). Course hours: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 01:34 to 03:45 pm.
The courses are also possible in the Murmlipark in the village (only in the mornings).
Kinderschneealm: daily from 10:00 am to 03:30 pm
Murmli park: daily from 09:30 am to 04:30 pm
… and then to the Murmli park
The paradise for all ski kids from age 3 to 4 who stand on the skis for the first time. In the middle of Serfaus, the Murmli Park is located on a 10,000 m2 meadow. The park is open daily from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm and it can be used for free. Three conveyor belts for children (one of them 100 metres long), a carousel, a bouncy castle, a children tobogganing run, an igloo and a lot of play figures guarantee amusement and fun for the whole family, but above all the children.
Lunch in the children’s restaurant
When it is time to have lunch the kids go with the Murmli truck - a piste machine specially converted for children - or on conveyor belts to the dedicated children’s restaurants - the coolest children’s restaurants in the Alpine region (for kids only). The Murmlirest invites all children under 6 to a fantasy trip with Murmli & the snow ghost. At the Starrest, children from the age of 6 can go on a discovery journey to different theme rooms. The food was tried and chosen by children for children.
In the meantime, the parents or grandparents can enjoy the winter sun in snug beach chairs or comfortable hammocks in the cosy relax zone of the Kinderschneealm. Or they walk along the 1.5 km long promenade adorned with informative stations about Serfaus’ history of skiing which leads from the Kinderschneealm around the nearby reservoir and back.
Bear piste
The bear slope leads from the mountain station of the Alpkopfbahn to the new meeting point of the ski school, the so-called bear meeting point (“Bärensammelplatz”), at the Bärenhütte. Numerous stations let the downhill run become a unique experience! The bear’s head, throat, belly as well as the bear trap can be crossed by the little and big skiers.
